The Department of Personnel is responsible for membership growth and
retention, diversity and increasing pride and esprit de corps among Auxiliary
membership.

The beginning of the year is the time for reflection on the
past year’s accomplishments and to set new goals for the next twelve months.
The following are the total recruiting efforts conducted in 2010.
Number of personnel contacted who expressed interest in
joining the CGAUX: 26
Number of personnel interviewed who accepted an enrollment
application: 19
Number of applications submitted and membership numbers
issued: 10
Number of applications presently outstanding awaiting
submittal: 2
Thanks to the participation of flotilla members in referring
potential applicants to me. We met Jeff's goal of "10 in 10". I would
suggest we set a new goal of
"11 in 11". With the continued support of present members I'm
confident this goal can be achieved. Next month I will publish a list of
potential recruiting targets for flotilla members to consider when referring
personnel to me for initial interviews.
